I waited so long for this moment for my family to visit me here in Sydney; 8 months after I left Lithuania. Now it's time to enjoy exploring Australia for almost 3 weeks with them.
Even though the weather while staying in Sydney was terrible (it was raining all the time) we managed to do the Coogee – Bondi walk, visit Hyde Park and St. Mary’s Cathedral, Royal Botanical Gardens, Opera House and the Rocks.
The last touch of introducing Sydney to my family was Jazz Symphony Orchestra at Sydney Opera House. The first part was so melancholic and reminded us of street noise and traffic – not the best thoughts of such a concert. The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra joined the Sydney Symphony Orchestra which was more enjoyable but the play still limited the improvisation of talents. All in all, it was a nice cultural touch and visit to Sydney Opera House.
Before leaving Sydney we stopped at the beautiful historical area La Perouse.
Next stop is the spectacular Blue Mountains.
