As I felt pretty good after the wine tour, we left the AirBnB apartment around 9 am and headed to check the Sugarloaf Rock which from the car park didn’t look great but going down, it opened an amazing view of the rock and the ocean.
After this it was more than 1 hour drive to Bunbury which was known for its street art. As I was dreaming of the coffee it seemed to be a perfect spot. However we couldn’t find few of the wall arts according to the map but at least we had a chance to stretch our legs a bit.
Even though I had quite nice coffee in Bunbury I felt sleepy and the long drive was still awaiting, so we decided to have a nap and chill at Preston Beach. It was so hot that a dip into the ocean helped just for 5 minutes although it was better than nothing.
We planned to camp close to Cervantes however we haven’t booked anything in advance. We tried to call few places but they were booked and then I found out a free spot on the highway but we were not fully sure if we want to spend our night there. When we got closer to Lancelin Sand Dunes I remembered seeing few campsites there and after giving them a call we got a spot at Lancelin Holiday Park. It was an amazing spot for the sunset and picnic at the beach despite the pretty huge wind.
