Tour to Green Island

We were looking for more snorkeling options and wanted to see turtles so we headed to Green Island.

Boat took us to the island and while walking through the bridge to the beach we saw a small shark in the water. It scared us and we headed to the other side of the island for snorkeling. The island wasn’t the spot for snorkeling as we saw only few fishes and no corals. However we saw a unique view when a bunch of fishes were jumping from the water and it seemed like the wave coming!

It was a good decision to take 30 minutes semi-submarine tour during which they fed fishes and that’s how we were able to see lots of fishes and the turtle.

Summer ended and you can feel it not only from the weather conditions but also from empty resort, bars and beaches. Palm Cove is called to be a famous summer holiday destination but restaurants were closing at 8pm and one hour later it seemed that we were the only ones in the streets.
